When the judges at the Burlington County Farm Fair announced the 2017 culinary arts winners, it came as no surprise that for the second year in a row, TammySue Hopkins and her daughter Rebecca took home 13 winning ribbons. The folks at the New Egypt Flea Market Village have been enjoying her jams, jellies, and gourmet products since TammySue opened her Jersey Girl’s Produce and Seasonal Items Shop at the market in 2009.
This year’s sweep of eleven 1st place and two 2nd place ribbons confirms what customers and vendors at the New Egypt Flea Market Village have known for years. TammySue’s original recipes are delicious. She grows her own produce organically and cans her goods using no artificial additives of any kind. Every jar in her TammySue’s Kitchen line of products is made with wholesome ingredients (and a lot of love) by TammySue and her daughters.
We should mention that her daughter Rebecca, who’s only 14 years old, took home some of those ribbons too. In fact, Rebecca even beat out her mom in one category. In one of the categories daughter won 1st and mom won 2nd place.
